Here are all the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards Winners

Comedy-drama “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” turned out a big winner with four awards at the 25th annual Critics’ Choice Awards held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Los Angeles County, on Sunday night.

The film, written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, won the top prize of the night, best picture, beating out nine strong rivals including “1917,” “Ford v Ferrari,” “The Irishman,” and “Little Women.”

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” also took home best supporting actor for Brad Pitt, best original screenplay for Tarantino and best production design for Barbara Ling and Nancy Haigh.

War epic “1917” followed closely behind, winning three categories, including best cinematography for Roger Deakins, best editing for Lee Smith, and best director for Sam Mendes.

Mendes and Bong Joon-ho, director of South Korean black comedy thriller “Parasite,” tied for best director honors. “Parasite” also nabbed the award for best foreign language film.

Best actor and best actress awards were bestowed upon Joaquin Phoenix for psychological thriller film “Joker” and Renee Zellweger for biographical drama film “Judy,” respectively, while best supporting actress went to Laura Dern for drama “Marriage Story.”

Roman Griffin Davis took home best young actor or actress award for comedy-drama “Jojo Rabbit.”

Greta Gerwig walked away with best adapted screenplay for “Little Women,” while Ruth E. Carter won the trophy for best costume design for “Dolemite Is My Name.”

“The Irishman” was the winner of best acting ensemble and “Toy Story 4” won the award for best animated feature.

Best action movie went to “Avengers: Endgame,” while “Dolemite Is My Name” was winner of best comedy.

“Us” took home the award for best sci-fi or horror movie.

On the TV side, Amazon’s “Fleabag” took home the most awards, winning best comedy series, best actress in a comedy series for Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and best supporting actor in a comedy Series for Andrew Scott.

Alex Borstein was a repeat winner for best supporting actress in a comedy series for her role in “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” as was best actor in a comedy series winner Bill Hader for “Barry.”

HBO’s “Succession” won the award for best drama series. Jeremy Strong won best actor in a drama series for “Succession,” while Billy Crudup nabbed best supporting actor in a drama series for “The Morning Show.”

“Watchmen” stars Regina King and Jean Smart took home best actress in a drama series and best supporting actress in a drama series, respectively.

“When They See Us” won the award for best limited series. Best TV movie went to “El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie.”

The awards are bestowed annually by the Critics Choice Association — the United States and Canada’s largest critics’ organization — to honor the finest in cinematic and television achievement.
